Research Network for Culture, Law and the Body

Internships

We are happy to welcome students from both Bachelor and Master tracks to join our team for an internship. We would like to offer the possibility to interns to support our research on law, culture and the body and to gain valuable research skills and hands-on experience with primary sources, as well as the opportunity to work with an international research network.

The specific responsibilities will vary per intern (based on your BA/MA, interests and skills). In general, we are looking for students who will support the researchers in collecting and managing historical data (media, newspapers, legal handbooks, medical and legal journals, or historical court files).

We are looking for BA and MA students (for example in History, Law, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Literature, Philosophy, or Language and Cultural Studies) who have:

  • the motivation to learn a lot and participate as a member of our team;
  • a strong interest in the role of the body in law;
  • good command of English;
  • the ability to work both independently and as a team player.

We offer:

  • internships for BA or MA students (5-15 ECTS);
  • the opportunity to experience what research looks like ‘from the inside’ and to be part of a large, international research network
  • the possibility to present your work at one of our meetings, to publish a blog on our website, or to develop a communications project in relation to our project.
